A lesson in musical instruments was shared with the 4th Grade students at the John F. Kennedy Primary School on Friday, April 25.
The session was an introduction to the various musical instruments that JFK students will have the option to play when they enter the Eisenhower Intermediate School in September.
The instructors who demonstrated the instruments to the JFK students during the morning session were the teachers in the Visual and Performing Arts program at Eisenhower.
Orchestra Teachers Lisa Gaudet and Carrie Jendza, and Band Teachers Chris Dickson and Jacob Ulm played the various instruments for the JFK students. Fliers were distributed to the students to bring home to their parents in order to register for the Eisenhower music program.
Ms. Gaudet, Ms. Jendza, Mr. Dickson and Mr. Ulm all summed up the visit.
“The kids were excited to see and hear the instruments so they could sign up to play,” they reported.
