Summer is around the corner, so the time is right for students at the John F. Kennedy Primary School to begin thinking about reading.
So on Tuesday, June 9, the 3rd Grade students at JFK gathered to learn about what the Borough of Raritan Public Library has to offer.
Adam Petroski, the Director of the Raritan Public Library, and Lindsay Kunz, the Children’s Librarian, spoke to the students during an assembly.
According to Kim Cook, 3rd Grade Teacher at JFK, the students enjoyed learning about Raritan's history and the upcoming events at the library, located on East Somerset Street in the borough.
“A huge thanks to Mr. Adam Petroski and Ms. Lindsay Kunz for visiting and sharing details about their summer reading program,” Ms. Cook said.
