What a wonderful time of the year at the John F. Kennedy Primary School.

The students and staff at John F. Kennedy celebrated the end of the first half of the school year and the start of the holiday season’s winter break with a lively annual Winter Sing-Along on Friday, December 19.

The festive school-wide assembly was orchestrated by JFK’s enthusiastic Music Teacher, Jimmy Cicchino.

According to Mr. Cicchino, “all students in Grades K-4 have been working hard to practice five songs, including "A Marshmallow World", "Winter Wonderland", "Frosty the Snowman", and "Jingle Bell Rock".

Principal Aldo Russo and Mr. Cicchino also explained a special portion of the assembly.

“It is a JFK tradition for the 4th graders to perform a song for the younger grades at their final Sing-Along. However, since the 3rd graders will be moving up to Eisenhower Intermediate School next year for their 4th-grade year, they also performed a featured song.”

The 4th Grade students performed "Here Comes the Snow" and "Believe", and 3rd Grade performed "Hot Chocolate". Finally, to end the festive celebration, the JFK School rocked out to a medley of "Let It Snow" and "Holiday Road."
