Dear JFK Families,
Welcome back from what was hopefully a restful and enjoyable summer! Your JFK PTO has already been busy planning for the school year this summer and is looking forward to an exciting new year for our students, parents, and teachers. If this is your first year at JFK Primary School, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you. If you are a "seasoned" JFK family, we know that you are as excited as we are to be starting the school year up again.
Whether a new PTO member or a returning member, we thank you for your contributions, time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers, and most importantly, our students! Being a member of the PTO is such a rewarding experience!! We look forward to continuing the working partnership we have established with the Board of Education, Administration, our amazing Teachers and our invaluable Staff to provide an excellent learning experience for our children.
We encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our team. The number one reason to join the PTO is to benefit the children. In doing so, you also help us. But there are many more advantages:

By becoming a PTO member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

By volunteering with your PTO, you gain valuable experiences and personal confidence. It’s an opportunity to put your skills and hobbies to good use, for a good cause.

By getting involved, you’ll be part of the solution, helping to make positive changes.

PTO functions provide opportunities to meet other parents and teachers.

The PTO is a forum for exchanging ideas. Attend the PTO meetings throughout the year to make suggestions, and provide your input.
Attached you will find our VOLUNTEER form as well as our form for CLASS PARENTS. Please fill them out as soon as possible. The CLASS PARENT form has a closing date of September 6th.
