Principal Russo still listens today when former teachers read at JFK

Aldo Russo will not forget where he gained his education from that led to his accession to Principal at the John F. Kennedy Primary School.

He listened as a youth and continues to listen today when three of his former teachers paid a call to JFK and participated in Read Across America.

“I was fortunate enough to have three of my former teachers come to JFK and read to the students. They all had a profound impact on me. The students at JFK love their visit.

The 3 teachers were my former 2nd grade teacher, Christine Montefusco, 3rd grade teacher, Carol Horvath, and 4th grade teacher, Emily DeScenza.,” Principal Russo reported.

Also on hand to read were retired Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School Principal Nancy Mahoney and retired Bridgewater-Raritan Supervisor Barbara Kane.
